Inspection of minute-books of general meeting: member may apply to the Tribunal in Form NCLT-9 if company refuses inspection.
Rule 76 provides that a member who requests inspection of the minute-book of a general meeting and pays the requisite fee, but is refused by the company, may apply to the Tribunal for a direction for inspection; the application must be made in the prescribed form. The provision creates a statutory enforcement mechanism enabling members to secure access to company minute-books through Tribunal intervention where company refusal prevents inspection, with the procedural requirement of using the designated form for relief.
