Company Liquidator Must Rectify Filing Defaults Within 14 Days as Per Clause 353 of Companies Bill, 2011
Clause 353 of the Companies Bill, 2011 mandates that a Company Liquidator must rectify any default in filing, delivering, or making required returns, accounts, or documents within fourteen days of receiving notice. If the Liquidator fails to comply, the Tribunal can order them to correct the default within a specified timeframe upon application by a contributory, creditor, or the Registrar. The order may require the Liquidator to bear all related costs. This provision does not affect any existing penalties imposed on the Liquidator for such defaults.
