Company Liquidator Must File Final Report and Apply for Dissolution within Two Weeks Under Section 60.
Once a company's affairs are fully wound up, the Company Liquidator must prepare a report detailing the disposal of assets and discharge of debts. A general meeting is then called to present the final accounts. If members approve, a resolution for dissolution is passed. Within two weeks, the Liquidator must send the final accounts and resolutions to the Registrar and apply to the Tribunal for dissolution. If satisfied, the Tribunal orders dissolution within sixty days. The Liquidator must file this order with the Registrar, who publishes a notice of dissolution. Non-compliance by the Liquidator may result in a fine.
