<h1>Customs Act Section 10: Principal Commissioner can designate boarding stations for customs officers at ports. Amended by Finance Act 2014.</h1> The Customs Act, 1962, Section 10, authorizes the Principal Commissioner or Commissioner of Customs to designate boarding stations at or near customs ports through an official notification. These stations facilitate the boarding and disembarkation of customs officers from vessels. This provision was amended by the Finance (No. 2) Act, 2014.
