of <h1>Customs Designates Private Terminal Quay for Import/Export Operations at Nhava Sheva Under Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Commissioner of Customs (General) at Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House, Nhava Sheva, has designated the Quay area, constructed by a private terminal company, as a location for unloading imported goods and loading export goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The specified area, detailed in Schedule-I, will also serve as a boarding station for customs officers. The defined customs area measures approximately 22,536 square meters within specified coordinates. Port operations will commence upon receipt of a commencement certificate from the customs office, ensuring compliance with the Customs Act and related governmental instructions.
