Correction of clerical errors allows authorities to amend clerical or arithmetic mistakes in customs decisions or orders at any time. Correction of clerical or arithmetical mistakes in any decision or order under the Customs Act may be rectified at any time by the Central Government, the Board, the officer of customs who made the decision or order, or the successor in office, and covers errors from accidental slips or omissions.
