Package confiscation extends to all goods contained within it when imported or export goods are liable to confiscation. Liability to confiscation extends beyond the offending goods to the package containing them and any other goods contained in that package. Where imported goods in a package are liable to confiscation, the package and all other goods imported in it also become liable. The same rule applies to goods brought into a customs area for exportation, where the package and any other goods contained in it are likewise liable to confiscation.
