Mischief to critical transport infrastructure punished by lengthy imprisonment; fire or explosives elevate penalty to life imprisonment. Mischief against rails, aircraft, decked vessels or vessels of twenty tons or upwards committed with intent to destroy or knowing it likely to destroy, or render unsafe, is punishable with imprisonment of either description up to ten years and fine; if committed or attempted by fire or any explosive substance, punishment is imprisonment for life or imprisonment up to ten years and fine.
