of <h1>Section 152: Criminalizing Acts Threatening India's Sovereignty, Unity, Integrity; Life Imprisonment or Up to 7 Years Penalty</h1> Section 152 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, addresses acts that endanger the sovereignty, unity, and integrity of India. It criminalizes actions that purposely or knowingly incite secession, armed rebellion, or subversive activities through words, signs, electronic communication, financial means, or other methods. Such acts are punishable by life imprisonment or imprisonment up to seven years, along with a fine. However, expressing disapproval of government measures with the intent to seek lawful changes does not constitute an offense under this section.
