Life imprisonment equivalence treated as twenty years when calculating fractional terms of punishment under the statute. For the purpose of calculating fractions of terms of punishment, imprisonment for life shall be reckoned as equivalent to imprisonment for twenty years, unless another provision expressly provides a different reckoning.
