Empanelment of mediators establishes regulated panels with prescribed qualifications, procedures, conduct, and limited-term re empanelment under regulations.

Empanelment of mediators requires each consumer Commission to prepare a panel through its mediation cell on recommendation of a selection committee of the President and a member; regulations will prescribe qualifications, empanelment procedure, training, fees, terms, code of conduct, grounds and manner for removal or cancellation, with panels valid for five years and eligibility for re empanelment under regulatory conditions.
