Complaints can be filed in the jurisdiction where the opposite party resides, conducts business, or where the cause of action arises. Additionally, complaints may be filed where the complainant resides or works. The Commission typically operates from district headquarters but may also function at other locations as notified by the State Government in consultation with the State Commission.
