District Consumer Protection Council as advisory body established by state notification, chaired by Collector and convened regularly. Establishes a District Consumer Protection Council by state notification as an advisory body; the Collector of the district is Chairperson and other official and non-official members are prescribed. The council shall meet as necessary but not less than two meetings every year, at times and places within the district as the Chairperson thinks fit, and shall observe procedures as may be prescribed for transaction of its business.
