Vacancy in office of President: senior-most member, with judicial members taking precedence, performs presidential duties. Vacancy in the office of President of the National Commission and temporary inability are filled by the senior-most member of the National Commission; where a retired High Court Judge or a person who has been a Judicial Member is a member, such member, or if more than one the senior-most among them, shall preside over the National Commission in the absence of the President.
