Central Consumer Protection Authority created to regulate unfair trade practices and false or misleading advertisements, enforcing consumer rights. Establishes the Central Consumer Protection Authority to regulate violations of consumer rights, unfair trade practices and false or misleading advertisements, and to promote, protect and enforce consumer rights; sets the Authority's creation by Central Government notification, composition of a Chief Commissioner and other Commissioners appointed by the Central Government, and headquarters in the National Capital Region of Delhi with provision for regional and other offices.
