Enforcement of commission orders as court decrees enables civil execution procedures to be used for implementing those orders. Orders of District, State or National Consumer Commissions are enforceable by the issuing commission in the same manner as a court decree; provisions of Order XXI of the Code of Civil Procedure apply, as far as practicable, with references to a 'decree' construed as references to an order under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and with necessary modifications to effect enforcement.
