Service conditions of National Commission members are set by central rules; term limits, age caps and post reform appointments governed. Central Government rules may prescribe qualifications, appointment, term of office, salaries and allowances, resignation, removal and other terms and conditions of service for the President and members of the National Commission; terms include a maximum duration and eligibility for re appointment, with age ceilings specified in those rules. Appointments made after the tribunal reforms regime commence are governed by that regime. After appointment, salary, allowances and other terms and conditions of service cannot be varied to the incumbent's disadvantage.
