Power of District Collector to inquire into consumer-rights complaints, unfair practices and misleading ads and report to Central Authority. The District Collector may, on complaint or on reference from the Central Authority or a regional office Commissioner, inquire into or investigate complaints about consumers' rights violations, unfair trade practices and false or misleading advertisements within the Collector's jurisdiction and submit a report of findings to the Central Authority or to the Commissioner of the regional office.
