of <h1>AD Category-I banks need RBI approval for first RDA with non-resident Exchange Houses; subsequent RDAs require notification.</h1> For entering into arrangements under the Money Transfer Service Scheme (MTSS) and Rupee Drawing Arrangement (RDA), initial permission from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is required only for the first arrangement that an Authorized Dealer (AD) Category-I bank makes with non-resident Exchange Houses for RDA. After the first arrangement, AD Category-I banks can enter into additional RDAs following prescribed guidelines and must inform the RBI immediately.
