of <h1>Banks Must Record Legal Entity Identifier for All Cross-Border Transactions From October 1, 2022, Regardless of Value.</h1> An Authorized Dealer (AD) bank is required to record a valid Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) for cross-border transactions of INR 50 crore and above conducted on or after October 1, 2022. After this date, the AD bank must report the valid LEI for all cross-border transactions, regardless of their value. If the AD bank already possesses a valid LEI for an entity, it must report it for all transactions, even if the entity has not conducted a transaction of INR 50 crore or more through the bank.
