of <h1>AIFs Required to Register on FLAIR Portal to File Annual Return on Foreign Liabilities and Assets Under FEMA 1999</h1> An Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) must register on the FLAIR portal to file the Annual Return on Foreign Liabilities and Assets (FLA) under FEMA 1999. Currently, there is no online filing provision for AIFs, so they must email a request for the latest format after registration. The FLA Team will provide an Excel-based format via email, which the AIF must complete and return. Upon receipt of the completed form, the FLA Team will send an email acknowledgment.
