Permissible debits from an Exchange Earners Foreign Currency (EEFC) Account include payments outside India for permissible current and capital account transactions; payments for goods purchased from specified export-oriented or technology park units; payment of customs duty under the Foreign Trade Policy; trade-related loans or advances from an exporter to an overseas importer subject to borrowing and lending regulations; and payments in foreign exchange to residents for supply of goods or services, including airfare and hotel costs.
