Special Rupee Vostro Account balances can be repatriated in convertible or beneficiary currency depending on the transaction. Balances in a Special Rupee Vostro Account may be repatriated in freely convertible currency or in the domestic currency of the beneficiary trading partner, depending on the underlying transaction for which the SRVA was credited; for import payments the funds can be remitted to the overseas exporter in either form.
