<h1>Constitution of Central and State Advisory Boards on minimum wages and women's employment, advising Governments with power to direct</h1> Central Advisory Board: mandates constitution of a Central Advisory Board composed of employer and employee representatives in equal numbers, up to one-third independent members, and five State Government representatives, with one-third women and an independent member as Chairperson, and it shall advise on fixation/revision of minimum wages, women's employment and related Code matters, whereupon the Central Government may issue directions to State Governments in respect of referred issues. State Advisory Boards: requires each State to constitute a Board with employer and employee parity, up to one-third independent members, one-third women and an independent Chairperson, empowered to advise on wages and women's employment, to form committees/sub-committees, and for the State Government to issue directions after considering such advice and representations. Boards and their committees shall regulate procedure and terms of office as prescribed.
