<h1>Employer wage-period setting (daily/weekly/fortnightly/monthly) capped at one month, allows different establishments; effective 21-11-2025</h1> Requires the employer to fix a wage period for employees on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis, and prohibits any wage period for any employee from exceeding one month, thereby prescribing the maximum permissible periodicity for wage computation and payment cycles. Permits different wage periods to be fixed for different establishments, thereby allowing establishment-wise variation in wage-period fixation while maintaining the one-month cap. The provision comes into force from 21-11-2025.
