of <h1>Employee agreements waiving wage and bonus rights under Code on Wages, 2019 declared void; statutory entitlements enforceable.</h1> Declares void any contract or agreement under which an employee relinquishes the right to any amount payable, or the right to bonus due, under the Code on Wages, 2019, to the extent the contract purports to remove or reduce any person's liability to make such payment under the Code. The consequence is that statutory wage and bonus entitlements remain enforceable notwithstanding contrary private agreements, and the payer's liability under the Code cannot be contractually waived or diminished.
