<h1>Clause 69 of the Code on Wages, 2019 repeals four key wage-related acts but preserves existing actions unless conflicting.</h1> Clause 69 of the Code on Wages, 2019, repeals the Payment of Wages Act, 1936, the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965, and the Equal Remuneration Act, 1976. Despite these repeals, actions taken under these acts, such as notifications or orders, remain valid under the Code's corresponding provisions unless they conflict with the new Code. These provisions will stay effective until explicitly repealed by the Code or through a notification by the Central Government. Additionally, section 6 of the General Clauses Act, 1897, applies to the repeal of these enactments.
