<h1>Central Advisory Board membership under Code on Wages s42 set: equal employer-employee seats, women quota, rotating state nominees</h1> Prescribes the composition and nomination framework for the Central Advisory Board under section 42 of the Code on Wages. It fixes equal representation of employers and employees at twelve members each, and specifies categories of independent members and State Government representatives to be nominated, including the Chairperson, senior officials, parliamentarians, wage and labour professionals, an Industrial Tribunal presiding officer, and rotating State Advisory Board chairpersons, with five rotating State labour department representatives. It designates the Joint Secretary in charge of the Wage Division as Member Secretary. It mandates that independent members shall not exceed one-third of total membership and that one-third of members shall be women, and updates the Chairperson as the Minister in Charge.
