Inspection of records under NCLAT Rules allows parties and authorised representatives access; non-parties require Registrar permission and conditions
NCLAT Rule 57 prescribes inspection of case records: parties and their authorised representatives may inspect records on written application to the Registrar and payment of the prescribed fee, providing a right of access subject to procedural compliance. A non-party may inspect proceedings only after obtaining the Registrars written permission and subject to terms and conditions that the Chairperson may prescribe by general or special order, thereby enabling discretionary non-party access limited by regulatory conditions and procedural safeguards.
