Powers and functions of the Registrar include registration, summons management, document inspection and transmission to civil jurisdiction.
Rule enumerates the Registrars powers and functions relating to tribunal administration: registration of filings and intake of applications for amendment of filings and subsequent proceedings, receipt and management of summons and short-date notices including applications for substituted service, handling applications for admission and inspection of documents, and transmission of directions or orders to civil fora for execution with prescribed certification; additionally the Registrar may perform other incidental functions as directed by the Chairperson, thereby centralising procedural and service-related administration for appellate filings.
