Documents in Non-English Must Be Translated to English Under Rule 25 Before Tribunal Proceedings Can Begin.
Rule 25 of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal Rules, 2016, mandates that any document not in English, intended for proceedings before the Appellate Tribunal, must be accompanied by an English translation agreed upon by the parties or certified as accurate by an authorized representative. The Registrar can order translation and certification by an approved person for a fee. Proceedings will not be scheduled for hearing until all parties confirm that all necessary documents are in English or translated into English, with the required copies filed with the Tribunal.
