Chairperson, Members, officers and other employees of the Board are deemed public servants when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any provision of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, thereby bringing their official acts under the penal-law concept of public servant status; the provision commenced in August 2016.
