When a debtor files an application through a resolution professional, the Adjudicating Authority must confirm with the Board within seven days that there are no disciplinary proceedings against the professional. The Board must then confirm or reject the appointment and nominate an alternative if necessary. If the debtor files the application independently, the Authority directs the Board to nominate a professional within ten days. The appointed professional is then provided with the application for the fresh start process.
