An appeal from an order of the Debt Recovery Tribunal must be filed before the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal within a thirty day appeal period; the appellate tribunal may, if satisfied that the appellant was prevented by sufficient cause from filing within that period, allow the appeal to be filed within a further limited period not exceeding fifteen days, pursuant to the commencement notification.
