When an application is filed through a resolution professional, the Adjudicating Authority must direct the Board to confirm within seven days that no disciplinary proceedings are pending against the professional. The Board must then confirm or reject the appointment and nominate another professional if necessary. If the application is filed directly by the debtor or creditor, the Board is directed to nominate a resolution professional within ten days. The Adjudicating Authority then appoints the recommended or nominated professional.
