Delivery of estate property required to be surrendered to the bankruptcy trustee under insolvency law. Section 156 mandates that the bankrupt, the bankrupt's banker, agent or any person in possession of property, books, papers or other records which the bankruptcy trustee is required to take must deliver those assets and documents to the bankruptcy trustee to enable administration and distribution of the bankrupt's estate.
