Companies Act mediation enables parties or tribunals to refer proceedings to mediation and file mediated settlements. Section 442 permits parties or the Central Government, Tribunal or Appellate Tribunal to refer proceedings to mediation under the Mediation Act, 2023; mediators must file the mediated settlement agreement which the authority shall incorporate into its order or judgment, and mediator fees are to be prescribed.
