Mediation Council of India established as corporate body with power to own property, contract and sue or be sued. Establishes the Mediation Council of India as a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, empowered to acquire, hold and dispose of movable and immovable property, enter into contracts, and sue or be sued in its corporate name; sets the head office at Delhi unless otherwise notified and permits establishment of other offices in India and abroad in consultation with the Central Government.
