of <h1>Consumer Protection Act text changes under Mediation Act 2023 Section 65 and Tenth Schedule, effective on commencement</h1> Section 65 of the Mediation Act, 2023 amends the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 by providing that it shall stand modified in the manner set out in the Tenth Schedule. The operative effect is that, upon commencement, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 must be read subject to the specific insertions, substitutions, omissions, or other textual modifications contained in the Tenth Schedule, to the extent and for the purposes so prescribed therein.
