<h1>Amendments to civil suit procedure under the Code of Civil Procedure via Section 59 and the Fourth Schedule take effect</h1> Section 59 amends the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 by providing that the Code shall stand amended in the manner specified in the Fourth Schedule. The operative effect is that the procedural law governing civil suits and proceedings under the Code is modified to the extent and in the particulars set out in the Fourth Schedule, and courts and litigants must apply the Code as so amended.
