Mediation jurisdiction: mediations occur within the competent court/tribunal territory unless parties consent to external or online venues. Every mediation must be conducted within the territorial jurisdiction of the court or tribunal competent to decide the dispute; however, by mutual consent parties may hold mediation outside that territorial jurisdiction or online, and any mediated settlement agreement reached outside or online shall, for enforcement, challenge and registration, be deemed to have been undertaken within the territorial jurisdiction of the competent court or tribunal.
