          <h1>Qualifications and terms of service for commission members are governed by the Finance Act for appointments after its commencement.</h1> Section 22E provides that the qualifications, appointment, term of office, salaries and allowances, resignation, removal and other terms and conditions of service of the President and other members of the National Commission appointed after commencement of the relevant part of the Finance Act, 2017, shall be governed by the provisions of that Finance Act, while those appointed before that commencement remain governed by the Consumer Protection Act and its rules.
