Commencement of tribunal-merger provisions permits provision-specific effective dates through Official Gazette notification, where statutory references track each provision's individual commencement.

Part XIV concerning tribunal and authority merger-related amendments and service conditions is brought into force by Central Government notification in the Official Gazette. Different provisions may receive separate commencement dates. Any reference to commencement in a provision is to be construed as referring to the date that particular provision comes into force, enabling provision-wise implementation. The Part came into force with effect from 26 May 2017.
