Service terms governance for Appellate Board appointments now governed by Finance Act provisions; pre existing members retain prior terms. The amendment replaces 'Chairman' and 'Vice Chairman' with 'Chairperson' and 'Vice Chairperson,' inserts a reference in section 83 to the Copyright Act, 1957, and adds section 89A providing that qualifications, appointment, term of office, salaries and allowances, resignation, removal and other terms and conditions of service of the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and Members of the Appellate Board appointed after commencement of the Finance Act provisions are governed by that Finance Act, while pre commencement appointees remain governed by the existing Act and rules.
