Qualifications and service conditions of tribunal members now governed by Finance Act provision; earlier appointees remain under original Act. Section 10B provides that for Chairmen and Members appointed after commencement of the relevant Finance Act provision, qualifications, appointment, term, salaries and allowances, resignation, removal and other service conditions are governed by section 184 of the Finance Act; those appointed before that commencement remain governed by the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 and its rules as if the Finance Act provision had not come into force.
