Chairperson service terms governed by Finance Act provision for post commencement appointments; prior appointees retain existing regime. The amendment inserts a provision that the qualifications, appointment, term of office, salaries and allowances, resignation, removal and other terms and conditions of service of the Chairperson of the Tribunal appointed after commencement of Part XIV of Chapter VI of the Finance Act, 2017 shall be governed by section 184 of that Act, while a proviso preserves that Chairpersons appointed before that commencement remain governed by the Airports Authority of India Act, 1994 and its rules.
