          <h1>Appellate Board consolidation: Trade Marks Appellate Board becomes Copyright Appellate Board, transferring tribunal jurisdiction and powers.</h1> The Finance Act, 2017 substitutes references to the 'Copyright Board' with an Appellate Board and inserts a definition identifying the Appellate Board as the body referred to in the substituted provision. It replaces the original section to provide that the Appellate Board established under the Trade Marks Act shall, from the commencement of the Finance Act provisions, be the Appellate Board for the Copyright Act and shall exercise the jurisdiction, powers and authority under that Act. Specified subsections and a clause addressing structural or service provisions are omitted consequentially.
