of <h1>New Section 9A in Armed Forces Tribunal Act Aligns Appointments with Section 184 of Finance Act 2017</h1> In the Armed Forces Tribunal Act, 2007, a new section 9A is introduced, specifying that the qualifications, appointment, term, salaries, allowances, resignation, removal, and service conditions for the Chairperson and Members of the Appellate Tribunal, appointed after the Finance Act, 2017, will be governed by section 184 of the Finance Act, 2017. However, those appointed before the commencement of the relevant part of the Finance Act, 2017, will continue under the original provisions of the Armed Forces Tribunal Act, 2007, and its rules.
