Despite this repeal, any application, trial, inquiry, investigation, proceeding, or appeal that is pending before the new Adhiniyam comes into force will continue to be governed by the provisions of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872. These proceedings will be treated as if the new Adhiniyam had not been enacted, ensuring continuity and legal consistency for ongoing cases.
