of <h1>SEBI Regulation 197 Omitted: No More 1% Deposit Requirement for Issuers Before Subscription List Opens.</h1> Regulation 197 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, which previously required issuers to deposit with the designated stock exchange an amount equal to one percent of the issue size before opening the subscription list, has been omitted. This amount was refundable or forfeitable as specified by the Board. The omission was effected by Notification No. SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2024/178 dated May 17, 2024.
